Yihan Jin, piano
Born in China and trained at the Royal College of Music in London, Yihan Jin is a concert pianist who has performed across the United Kingdom, France, and China, appearing at venues including Britten Theatre, Salle Maurice Koehl, and the Guangzhou Steinway Concert Hall. Among her most distinctive
engagements was a premiere performance at Cardiff University of the music of the late Sir Peter Maxwell Davies for the composer's family and friends. Her repertoire ranges from the core classical canon to contemporary works by composers such as Lutyens, Ligeti, and Fedele. As a collaborator, she has worked extensively as an accompanist and chamber musician, and worked
with the Cardiff University Orchestra and the BBC Ariel Orchestra.
