Evelina Antemisari, piano

Evelina Antemisari was born in 2005 in Athens.


In September 2023, she was accepted to the Royal College of Music (RCM) in London, where she is studying Piano Performance (Bachelor of Music, BMus) with the internationally renowned pianists Dina Parakhina & Richard Uttley as
well as Music Composition (Second study) with the composer Haris Kittos, with a full scholarship funded by International Foundations and Groups of Companies (R ENERGY1, Electra Hotels & Resorts, Tsavliris Cultural Foundation, Bodossaki Foundation, Aegean Airlines).


She is a graduate of Pierce - The American College of Greece, where she studied on a music scholarship and excelled in her studies. She was awarded the “ACG Pierce Orchestra Award” for her excellence and her valuable contribution to the school’s Orchestra. She was also honored by ACG (Pierce - Deree - Alba) as she was included in the anniversary book that The American College of Greece published, celebrating the professional and personal accomplishments of 100 of its most outstanding ACG alumni for the past 150 years of its existence.


At a young age, she began studying piano with her mother Chrysa Diagourta.  Later she continued her studies with professor Dimitris Toufexis and she received her Piano Diploma from the Filarmoniko Odeio Pefkis at the age of 14, receiving the maximum score of “Excellent unanimously with a First Prize” and was honored with the Conservatory’s Gold Medal, which is rarely awarded.


Besides piano, she holds a Grade 8 Violin Performance (ABRSM 2021, G. Mandylas) as well as the Diploma in Harmony (2020) and Grade 6 Music Theory (ABRSM 2021, Th. Broutzakis). She has also studied Jazz improvisation on alto saxophone with A.
Ladopoulos and on piano with C. Mastrogiannidis.  She has been a member of the internationally awarded Rosarte Choir (2012-2019).


Evelina has given piano recitals and performed in many concerts across multiple European countries. (UK, Austria, Italy, Greece and more). 


She has also won several prizes in National and International piano and composition competitions.


Piano: Absolute First Prize and Beethoven Musical Sensibility Special Award at the «Beethoven International Music Competition UK», First Prize and Expressive Performance Special Prize at the  «UK International Music Competition», First Prize at the «10th Maria Cherogiorgou- Sigara Music Competition”, and more.
Composition: Absolute First Prize and Great Creativity Special Prize at the «World Melody Music Competition» for her piece  «Second Thoughts”, First Prize at the International Competition “Cyprus - Greece - Hellenes abroad for her piece « The voice of Cyprus» and more.


She has participated in international Music Academies such as the Mozarteum University Summer Academy (2022) and in piano, composition and orchestra conducting seminars with leading pianists, composers and conductors such as Robert Levin, Michael Korstick, Konstantinos Destounis, Alain Lefevre, Brandt Fredriksen, Jacques Rouvier, Andreas Groethuysen, Danny Driver, Vassilia Efstathiadou, Jonathan Girard, Lina Tonia and others. She has also attended masterclasses with the internationally renowned Lang Lang, John Powell, Alan Silvestri, Joe Hisaishi, Giuseppe Ravi,David Arnold, Barry Wordsworth, Gavin Greenaway and others.


As a member of the RCM Choir she has collaborated with the conductors Sir Andrew Davis, Martyn Brabbins and Sophie Jeannin. She promotes Environmental Awareness as an active member of HELMEPA (Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association)
